Thank You, Waves Volunteers – You Make It Happen
Hello Waves Volunteers,
I want to take a moment to send a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you.
Thank you for showing up. For stepping in. For stepping up. For doing the big jobs and the small ones, the early mornings and the late nights. These meets simply cannot happen without you — and because of you, they do. Beautifully.
Every role you take on, whether it’s timing, shepherding swimmers, validating DQ slips, or helping in concessions—is vital. You are the reason our swimmers get to race, our parents get to cheer, and our families get to experience the joy and spirit of summer swim.
We are one team, not just in title, but in how we show up for each other. Around here, there’s no such thing as “that’s not my job.” Every role matters, every hand helps, and your generosity, energy, and willingness to jump in wherever needed is what makes this team extraordinary.
We still need more hands. If you know someone who might be willing to help, please invite them to join us. Recruit a friend, a neighbor, a fellow swim parent. The more of us there are, the more fun and the less heavy the lift becomes.
Thank you for being the heart of Waves. We are so lucky to have you.
With appreciation,
Olivia Savage
