Hi Waves Families,

I want to start with a HUGE apology, in the excitement of launching our season, I completely missed sharing one of the most exciting announcements we have… and this one absolutely deserves a big Waves cheer.

We are thrilled to officially welcome our newest Assistant Coach, Kofi Owusu, to the Westridge Waves coaching staff!

Here’s a little bit about Coach Kofi:

“My name is Kofi Owusu and this is my first year coaching the Waves. I’ve been a part of the Waves for 11 years as a swimmer and 2 years as a Captain.

I am thrilled to be back! This summer is all about making memories, having fun, and building a community committed to getting faster in the water. My goal is I want every swimmer to finish this season feeling so great that they can't wait to return next summer. Go Waves!”

We are incredibly lucky to have him on deck. His energy, leadership, and deep Waves roots make him such an exciting addition to our coaching crew.

If you see Coach Kofi this summer, make sure to give him a HUGE Waves high‑five and a warm welcome.
