WEEK 2 WAVES RECAP — WAVES TAKE THE WIN!
What an electric day at the pool! Our second home meet of the season brought the energy, the cheers, and some seriously fast swimming. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the deck feel alive from start to finish.
FINAL SCORE — WAVES ON TOP!
- Westridge Waves — 2447
- Stonewall Park — 2011
That’s not just a win… that’s a Waves takeover.
THREE RECORDS BROKEN!
Our 13–14 Boys didn’t just swim fast, they rewrote the record board.
- 13–14 Boys Medley Relay — dropped from 2:04.21 to 2:03.64
- 13–14 Boys Freestyle Relay — crushed it from 1:51.14 to 1:49.39
- 13–14 Boys Butterfly (Zaiah Lesly) — sliced the time from 28.70 to 28.40
Huge congratulations to these swimmers for pushing the limits and setting the tone for the season. We are so proud of you!
VOLUNTEER(S) OF THE WEEK...THE DECK SET CREW
Before the first swimmer even hit the water, our Deck Set Crew showed up like champions.
After the storm rolled through, they were out there hustling, drying, lifting, setting, securing, making sure our deck was safe, ready, and meet‑day perfect.
Thank you for showing up BIG.
THANK YOU WAVES FAMILIES
The cheers. The relays. The records. The volunteers. The kids smiling from ear to ear.
This is what summer swim is all about.
Week 2 is officially wrapped, and we’re rolling into Week 3 with momentum, pride, and that unstoppable Waves spirit.
Go WAVES!!
