Hello Waves Families,

We have an important update for tomorrow’s meet, and we’re asking everyone to take a moment to read this carefully. After monitoring the air quality throughout the day and consulting with our Head Official and the Visiting Team’s Head Official, we have made the decision to move forward with a GO for tomorrow’s meet, but with a delay to keep safety at the center of every choice.

Here is the updated plan for tomorrow:

1. Volunteers may arrive on deck starting at 7:30 AM to help with setup.
2. Warm-ups will begin at 8:30 AM. Please have all Waves swimmers on deck and checked in no later than 8:00 AM.
3. The meet will start at 9:00 AM.

Volunteer shifts will remain the same, just shifted forward:

• Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
• Shift 2: 11:30 AM to end of meet (approximately 1:00 PM)

We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and commitment as we navigate this situation together. Our priority is always the safety and well-being of our swimmers, families, and volunteers. This community shows its strength every time we face a challenge, and your support means everything.

We understand that not everyone may be able to attend with these changes. If your swimmer needs to scratch or if you can no longer volunteer, please let us know so we can adjust accordingly.
